Summer Reading

Students returning from last year or accepted Before August 1, 2026 must complete the regular Summer Reading assignment listed below.

PLEASE NOTE

  • All students, regardless of when they have been accepted, will do a project for their fiction piece. 
  • All projects are due the first week of classes.
  •  Grade 10-12 CP students and all Grade 9 students will complete the non-fiction reading in class and complete an in-class timed written essay during the first two weeks of school.
  • Grade 10-12 Honors students will read a non-fiction piece independently over the summer and complete an in-class timed written essay during the first two weeks of school.
