Mission Statement
Bishop Ä¢¹½TVÏÂÔØ welcomes all students into a caring and supportive Catholic community
that cultivates innovative and critical thinkers through extensive academic and co-curricular programs
Promoting Faith, Learning, and Service.
Vision
In partnership with our families and the greater community, Bishop Ä¢¹½TVÏÂÔØ challenges students to demonstrate academic excellence, build caring relationships, and show concern for others through community involvement and charitable works. In our caring community, each person is invited to build quality interpersonal relationships and to exert a positive influence on the climate of the school. Students learn in a nurturing, creative atmosphere; educators teach in a dedicated, professional manner; and administrators know that caring is as important to the heart as knowledge is to the mind.

History
Bishop Ä¢¹½TVÏÂÔØ traces its roots to St. John’s High School which was established in 1930 on South State Street in Concord, New Hampshire. Named for the Most Reverend Matthew F. Ä¢¹½TVÏÂÔØ, D.D., Bishop of Manchester, 1945-1959, Ä¢¹½TVÏÂÔØ opened its doors in September 1963 as a Catholic co-educational school offering a college preparatory program in a supportive Christian atmosphere.
Continuing the traditions of St. John’s High School, Ä¢¹½TVÏÂÔØ carries on the motto, “fides, caritas, veritas”- translated as faith, charity, and truth- the backbone of the strong principles behind the development of the total person. Our graduates are ready to face the world armed with a solid foundation of academic strength, a compassion for others, and a healthy respect for their religious beliefs, family and society.
Bishop Ä¢¹½TVÏÂÔØ is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and approved as a
non-public school by the State of New Hampshire Department of Education.
A Bishop Ä¢¹½TVÏÂÔØ Graduate at Graduation
Students at Bishop Ä¢¹½TVÏÂÔØ are immersed in a community that cultivates individual growth in faith, learning and service. This growth starts in an environment that nurtures talents and supports struggle. Growth is also shown in each Ä¢¹½TVÏÂÔØ student's pursuit of excellence in the classroom, by participation in athletics and co-curricular activities, in his or her social life, and through community service.
The vision of the Bishop Ä¢¹½TVÏÂÔØ Graduate at Graduation identifies specific skills and habits of mind that our community fosters. These are not skills to measure, but rather habits and virtues that students will deepen throughout their lives. Graduates receiving diplomas from Ä¢¹½TVÏÂÔØ will have demonstrated personal growth through Deepening Faith, Engagement in Learning, and Commitment to Service.
